I decided to buy this for my 14' Javelin and I've not been disappointed! It's easily as fast (or faster) than the stock fin, and I've never had any weeds hang up on it. One caveat is that it's a little less stable than the stock fin you'll see on most boards, but it will definitely make you a better paddler.
