Probably not as warm as they say but I have been able to work throuh those cold skiing says much better. I have usd them in the 15 to 20 degree area with reasonably good results, I was still a bit cool, but not like it was. Definitely worth a shot before going electric. I'm not sure how effective the foil cover for the bottom of the boot liner is, but I have that in place too. 4 Star
