These skates are a great combination of speed and toughness yet still lighter than they seem. I use them as multipurpose skates as I like to skate long distances but also punish them jumping a thing or two. Fitness skates would likely bend the frame or even crack it, but not the RB-10s. Watch out for speed until you get used to these. They are VERY fast and it's very likely you'll catch high speeds with the slightest downhill you might skate on. If you come from slower skates, please get real used to these before skating through traffic.
They are extremely comfortable, I skated for 6 hours and 42mi last Sunday and my feet didn't hurt at all. I will add a gel sports insole, but only to get better arch support because of my flat feet.
I would definitely buy these skates again and totally recommend you to get them.
