This softshell pant is terrific for downhill skiing. It's lightweight but warm, and has stretch in the fabric so you don't feel constricted. I am a huge fan of softshell products, especially ski pants. These are cut for a pear-shaped figure though, with lots of room in the hips and thights. I have rather a boyish figure though and had to take in the pants around the upper thighs because they looked like jodhpurs on me.
