Globe Men's Viper, Black/Charcoal/Cyan-9.5 Review

These are some of the best skate shoes Globe has produced in years. They remind me very much of the old Rodney Mullen 2s, which were also an A+ skate shoe. these are not as bulky as say, the Fusions or the Sabres, but are very stable and pretty comfortable nonetheless. What little they sacrifice in padding, they make up for in stability. They are a very solid shoe with a solid heel counter. The specs say theyre leather, but they feel like synthetic nubuck, which also adds to thier stability. And they look easy to clean too. I like the old school impact control part of the sole under the ball of the foot. Overall these are quite epic. I would love to see a version 2.
