Lets just say I did a fair amount of research looking at these SUP kits trying to keep from having to put a roof rack on my car.

First things, most of these are 4" or 6" thickness, all of the better units are 6" with a heavy duty cover over the internal tube people who had the 4" models said they bowed in the middle like an air mattress.

I got both this model and the 8 footer Hang Ten Inflatable SUP, Blue/Yellow, 8-Feet thinking it would be great for kids and adults.

Unboxing:

Came in rectangular box, it also had a mesh backpack that it was already inside, I will not hike with this but it is nice for storage.
The paddle was really nice, adjustable a form fitting handle and a nice blade.
Repair kit (which also includes the SCREWS for the fins) took me a while to find them.
Pump, really nice pump it must be a two way pump and has a pressure valve.

The pump has a built in valve that locks down on the blow up valve, super easy took about 3 minutes to inflate.

When inflated it was rock solid, using these all day in Sunriver OR everyone could not believe they were inflatable.
could of rented them out all day long as everyone wants to try this sport.

My only thought going back, I wish we would have bought two ten footers, everyone can do the 10 footer and the 8 footer was too small for the 220lb+ parents.

Greatest idea ever for the small car crowd, throw it in pump it up and you are on the water.
