These goggles are a great choice for either sunny or darker conditions. This past Saturday, I started earlier in the day when it was very bright outside and I could see just fine. When it got darker later at night, I could still see reasonably well in the poorly lit areas; the persimmon tinted lens seemed to even help slightly accent the bumps and dips in the terrain. They are very comfortable and fit my big head quite well, but I would still recommend trying some on in a store first to be sure they will fit. They never once fogged up on me and snow/water cleaned off of them easily. I really like my two pair of Oakley sunglasses, and their goggles did not disappoint either.
