A moderate base and sweep promotes smooth handling in all conditions of surf, while the material provides for good response and an ultra light feel. The substantially smaller trailer fins give your board a much looser without loosing too much hold or drive. Performance Glass fins are the most similar to traditional fiberglass fins. They are machine cut from a fin panel made of 4/6oz fiberglass sheets and polyester resin. The fins are then hand finished and polished. (If anyone was wondering) I've discovered the TC Aqualine are not good for small and/or mushy waves. I thought I'd try them on my fish, but the TC have so much "cant", I felt they were significantly slowing me when I tried to glide straight on smaller waves. With that much cant, you have to constantly keep your board turning on the rails to not feel the drag (or ride more powerful waves).

I replaced the TC with my old M5 and immediately felt more overall glide. The TC do have more drive, but they really call for a quality/punchy wave. I didn't feel the turning arc on the TC was that much tighter than the M5, either.

On a lesser note, I also didn't like the big gaps between the board and fin the TC created. I know some gaps are inherent with the FCS design, but my M5 are relatively flush throughout on the same board.
