I was looking for a decent bag which didn't cost a lot. This looked like it.

The design is pretty good. It will carry adult boots separate from the main compartment so your other equipment will stay dry. It is roomy enough to carry all your ski clothes and extra gear including helmet with ease. It has a very big front pocket which I use to keep all my non ski stuff (which I need to access during travel: ipad, reading material ... ) and a pocket in the cover of the main compartment which is great for holding all the little things which would otherwise get lost in the bag. As a backpack its minimal. Just enough to put it on to get it from the car to the lodge and allow you to have your hands free to carry your gear. Straps are non-padded nylon and there is minimal padding between you and the bag. Overall for the price if the bag was built better I'd give it 4 stars BUT:

The construction and materials are subpar. The first the zippers do not work well and feel like they will not last the season. After two day trips the boot compartment is starting to come apart at the seams (see pictures). Also the material at the zippers is worn thru (see picture) and it's not 20 days old yet.

I can not recommend this product.
